Madrid the city of History and Leaving Spain.

I was planing to go to Touluse-France to see my friend Aymeric by Asla bus, checked the price in internet and the time table. And I made a mistake, thought that every day there is a bus to go but I was wrong and waited for more than 2 hours, there was bus to aproach to the bus station. What should I do? To wait till morning or go to city centre find a free hostel. All hostels were full and I waited till morning-the sun is up under a tree near the station. I was sleepy and cold, didn't bring thicker cloth with me. So I slept and cold at night and saw a dream too.

I got on the earlier Madrid bus and fell in to sleep at once. I opened my eyes in Madrid because I couldn't get enoguh sleep last night to stay outiside. For the first time in my life I stayed outside in the street. It was great experince for me to stay in a safe place. I called David who is gonna host me in Madrid, got the address and got out the bus station. Actually in Madrid there is a station inside the metro. So I tried to find a place to drop in internet. The weather was great, 25c and sunny.

Locotorio is the name of internet cafe in Spain. David was coming from the village after 10:00pm and I had to stroll around. I checked the things to do list in Madrid and decided to see Park Tio Pio, it is near Buenos Aeros Metro station. When I arrived the park with covered 4-5 hills suddenly the sky view changed sunny to cloudy. I was laying down the grass and watch the scene. One drop fell upon my nose first, I didn't care about it, took some photos, listened some people speaking Spanish around me or singing songs, smell the fresh air. Than it started raining heavily, it wasn't a joke, I could be wet, wan't an umbrella with me. So I had to leave there, run to the nearer shopping centre to wait for stop raining. It  was still raining when I got out the shopping centre but I needed to leave it was around 10, by metro I went to chamartin, David was waiting for me outside of the Metro, in a hurry we walked home, he lives near the metro station, goes to work by bike.

There are many museums and parks in this capital city. Some of the museums are free to entre. There are lot of Plaza and squares, and historical buildings here.

He showed me a place to sleep at once because I was so tired. In a few minutes I fell into sleep.

I had to wake up in the early morning because David doesn't have a extra key to give me even though I am tired and need to sleep  I don't have another chance. So, I left home with David, he rode his bike to work and I went to Bus Estasion to buy a ticket to go to Barcelona tomorrrow night bus. I hqd  to whole days to discover Madrid. I didN't want to loose time inside, Iwanted to be outside, see sightseeing e.t.c. and I need a friend to stroll around together. By chance I saw a post in Couchsurfing.com. There is someone else from Zurish and leaving tonight and need a friend to stroll around together.

While I was going to meet with Ken I was exploring Madrid Metro. There are musicians in the metro staitons, playing enstruments, earn money. I noticed young guy who was playing violin. I liked the way of him to play violin and remembered a story about a most famous violin player in a metro and stood there for about half an hour and listened to the guy with closed eyes, sat on stairs. People were watching at me and sometimes they asked me if  I am allright. The guy is Manuel from Romania, there are many jobless people in Romania and he has been in Madrid for a year and play guitar. I took a photo of him. He used an aplicator while playing.

We met each other near Plaza De Espana Metro station. It was pouring down the sky, I got wet and liked it, when I came eye to eye with Ken under a big white historical building with an umbrella in his hand and waiting for me and with a big smile on his face. All day long it rained a lot.

We walked to Plaza De Mayor to talk and know each other closely. Ken is 26 years old originally Irish guy, works in UBS Bank in Switzerland for one year, burned in Ireland lived there until he is 20 years old than moved to London and lived there for four years. Now he is jobless, quitted his job and planning to travel around the world for a few years. I envied him, I want to be travel all around the world ad don't need a work to earn money. I 'll do it soon somehow. He came to Madrid with his friends, they've left early. His flight is tonight.

He talked about me how green is the country that he lives and October and November are the worst season to visit, from December to April is Winter and temparature is under minus 20 degrees. He can call all his firends with the company phone even tyhough Avustralian friend, it is free. In Winter the weather is always cloudy, that's why Ken and his friends to go up to the mountains to sea the sun.He had travelled many countries in Europe and Bolivia, Peru, Colombia, Brezilia in Shouth America. His plan to come back to Ireland and see his mom and tha start travelling all around the world.

I joined a CS meeting at night but couldn't stay much, felt so tired after walked under the rain for hours, went home and slept at once....

Today is the last day in Madrid before leaving Barcelona, woke up at aroud 7 clock in the morning eat something and left home with David, he's gonna fly to Amsterdam at night, I am getting to Barcelona by bus tonight. It is a rainy, unusual Spring day in Izmir. David apologized me not able  to stroll around the city because of he is bussy to going to Japaneese course every night. So, time to leave now, said fairwell each other and walked away different distance.

I didn't know what shall I do for whole day and alone and I was asleep, thought of finding a hotel and sleep there however I would love to explore the city more. I got on the blue line I didn't know where I am going, I just going somewhere, at last I'd slept  for an hour in the blue line. I decided to visit Park El Capricho and got on green line Alemado De Osuna. Almost everyday it rained all day. But at first I wanted to see closer place Lago Lake. It is an artificial lake but people can canoeing, running, walking, riding a bike in this park. I did gym to strech my body than I ate patotoe omlette with onion and egg in a cafe, drank orange juice and than I strolled around the lake and shot some photos. than I got out of the park and I left myself to the road and listened to feeth I got where they want to go. And I found myself in the "Human Body " exhibition. It is forbidden to take a photo inside. They  used real human bodies, probably they are Cheese bodies, they gave you headphone to explane what kind of body systems inside. I am really sad not to take a photo.

After that I was on the way to find the Park El Capricho, it was still raining, I got wet under the rain, I couldn't find the Park, but I found a camping area which is Camping Osuna. The Manager of the camping is Severino told me that the park is closed at weekends and special days. He was so busy to give atention to  new camp residents from different counties. I admire of him because he could speak English than German, Spanish and Italian with the same fluently accent. I talked about Turkey and Turkey National Parks. He wants to go Turkey this year. He offered me to visit the Park Juan Carlos near by. Indide the park there are some lakes, riding path, running path,  walking path, if you want you can rent a bike in the park. Probably I was the only one to walk around under a rainy Madird day for more than 2 hours in the Park, because I couldn't see anybody before exit.

Time was passing quickly I had to go to Metro Americano to take my luggage from the locker change my clothes and buy a ticket to go to Barcelona. By metro I went to Metro Americano, bought a ticket, changed my clothes, cut my nails. washed my hands and face. and sat down near the Also Company bus not to miss the Barcelona bus. It is 23:37, 17c. In Spain companies don't separete the couches for women and men. A san examle a man was sitting next to me.

I was tired so much and slept all night long. Tomorrow I am gonna leave Spain and miss this country so much.

When I woke up it was morning and sunhit my eyes to wake me up, I couldn't feel my knees without moving my body. I went to the airport by train and after check-in control I was on the plane to back to my lovely country, Even though the cities that I visited are beautiful and attractive like a woman I wanted to see my woman, Turkey and my city Izmir.I came back to my country plenty of good memories, nice people that I met, delicious taste of the food in my tongue and hope and dreams of new adventures.

The end....

Sen Sabastian the city in the past

Early in the morning I woke up, had a quick shower, prepared a sandwich, said farewell to the girls and left home with Guiller, he took me to the bus station, I promised to send a postcard from Turkey, thanked everything, got on the bus and at once I fell into sleep again when the bus moved Gijon. On the road sometimes I opened my eyes and looked out od the window and saw the two sides are with green trees and grass. In Spain travelling bus is more expensive to compare with Turkey. I have a chance to listen music on the bus in some channels support by Asla company. We passed Llanes, San Vicenta, Gobierno, Santender, Laredo, Carto Urdiales. In Carto Urdiales three old ladies who are coming from trekking got on the bus. One of them sat next to me. She could speak English a little. She tought me to count from 1 to 30 in Spanish and some basic Spanish words as if "hi", "where are you from", "how much".

At last I was in Sen Sabastian, it is in Bask Region of Spain and near the Atlantic Ocean, like a city pop out in a fairy tale. Everybody told me that it is beautiful and facinating like a beautiful young lady but with a diffrence it comes form the past. First the city took me attention with the bridges on the river which falls to the Atlantic Ocean. And there are two big statues which are knights on the horses on the bridges. the river makes a circle in the city and meet the ocean at the end. And the beaches in the city centre. While swiming you can see the small island in the sea, whole small green hills in the city. There is a stage in the sea if you want to jump.

People in Sen Sabastian care aobut their appearance, they go to gym, run, swim, wind surf, ride a bike e.t.c. I couldn't any fat people on the beach they seem like models. This is for woman you can sun bath without a top. Nobody stares at you. I did it. If you want you can wind surf in another beach in the city centre too.

You cna stay many pansions to stay starts 40 Euros but you need to be careful at weekend. You need a reservation for weekend othervise you have to stay outside like me. I couldn't any place to stay, All of them were full so I stayed on a bench whole night wiated for the new day. I ate icecream, there are many different types of icecream. You should better to try before leaving Sn. Sn.

The new day started with a breakfast, I wanted to swim so much. It would be my first in Spain. I wore my swimsuit and run to seaside. The beach was covered yellow sands, there are many gates to open the beaches, showers, toilets for free. The water is clean and warm for hours I didn't want to get out the sea. A guy made a  statue by sand, it is comman here to build statue by sand and make money. I strolled in the city than, was lucky to see a marriage ceremony in a biggest Catedral of the city, women wear elegant dress, men wear fancy suits, I celabrated the bride, kissed her cheeks, said congratulations in Spanish, took some photos an left. She is so happy with cries on her cheeks.

At night I planned to go to Tolouse in France to visit one of my friend, I went to bus station. There aren't any offices here, I asked for help to the buses's drivers. I checked internet it should be a night bus to go to Tolouse, but I understood hours later after I asked drivers. Tonight there is no buses. What should I do. Tİll 2:00am I waited than I decided to come back to city centre, the taxi dirver told me that it id not possible to find a free passion or hotel at that time. So I waited for the morning under a tree, I canceled to go there, I sent  a message my friend Aymeric. I was cold to be outside, used internet in my mobile, slept for half an hour, wathched people to walk, run, ride a bike wholenight long, shot photos.

And decided to go to Madrid in hte morning to visit David, he was waiting for me.

The city is %99 safe, you can strole around 4 in the morning if you want. Taxis are white Mercedes. Amara Plaza is one of the famous Hotel here, it is next to bus station.

Leaving Barcelona, Going to Gijon, Asturias

Salinas, Aviles.

I went home with hopes and fell into sleep easily and early in the morning I woke suddenly because I was cold. I has to go to Maro's house to get my luggage before 8 I had to be there to get it. After I ate something I left home went to Maragall by metro, got it and carried to the Paralel, it was a fault to carry a luggage more than one week trip, I need to carry it home to home, it is not a pleasure for me. So, I did it and went to meet Monica near Metro Paralel. She came to take me to the Universidat. I hosted her in December in Izmir and  she invited me to come to Spain in May she would move to Barcelona. I was her guest that time. When I saw her I held her tightly, missed her so much. She lost weight, has many dress in her room and she shares the flat with two woman and pays 350£ just a small room in Paralel. It is too expensive. After I has a shower and changed my clothes we got out.

San Juan, Aviles.
Whole day long it rained, we saw many shopping centres, tried clothes, swiming suits, had fun, ate American pie with took alot of funny photos, tonight I had to leave that's why we weren't enough time to travel more in the city and she would flying to States next week, the day I would flying back to Turkey. She is sad, I am sad, I gave her birthday gift and Turkish Raki. She held me tightly, kissed my cheeks, thanked me a lot, made a big
smile on her lovely small face.  We left in the evening and hope to see each other again.

In Univesidat the prices starts 1300£ if you want to rent a flat. And water and electricity is extremly expensive here. People make siesta from 2:00pm-4:30pm. Usually whole shops are closed in that time.

L1 Red Line I went to Arc the Triomf now it was raining heavily, it was pouring down. I asked for help to somoone to carry my luggage to the Arc. I didn't care the rain, I got wet a little and a guy who wore a dark suit took my photo in front of the Arc the Triomf. More than half an hour I waited for stopping rain under the Arc with other people. Also umbrellas weren't enough to protect from rain. I ate sandwich that I made it , talkd the people around to spend time. Than I walked the Bus Estation. I went to toilet, met some old priestesses inside the building, I have taken photos with them. They had big smile their faces to take a photo with me. My longest trip are gonna start in a few minutes with ALSA company in Spain.

On the road I was thinking my next destination San Sebastian, my cats, to make a baby, worries about pregnancy, my brain is full of worries, don't like making faults, my younger brother Mustafa, want to travel more, to come back home alive, to go to Greek Islands in this Summer, to need to smile more, to be lucky to live in a big house, to buy food cheaper than Spain in Turkey, and care about my weight, send postcards to my friends from where I am.

After 13 hours I arrived Gijon. On the intercity buses noone serves tea, water, cake in Spain. Nobody helps you to put your luggage in the bus. At night the temparature was 10C and I was cold. When the bus stopped at night I went to WC and  I saw a hole to put coins on the door of the WC to get pee.I tis weird fo rme to put coin in the toilet. I was going the North. North of Spain has four Provinces are Galicia, Asturias, Cantavria and Bask.
Guillerr and I would meet at 1:00pm so I have some time to explore the city. I need stamps, I found them in Tobacco Shop and sent postcards to my firends in Turkey and Tunusia. I bought some banana, apples and orange juice from a local maket. I sat on a wooden bench and tried to get warm under the afternoon sun and watced doves and sparrows. An old lady was strolling with her puppies. We talked for a short time, I stroked little puppies in my lap and was so happy. In an internet cafe I sent messages  to my friends and realized that you can use internet for at least 10 minutes.

Gijon is near the Atlantic ocean and most crowded city of Asturias Province with 300.000 people. And here people eat dinner at around 10pm. I t is too late for Turkish people because we eat dinner at 7-8pm.

Guillerr lives with two Polish girls whom names are Alexandra for one week. He has lived in Ireland for 2 years and travelled in Shouth America for one and half years. He has been in Gijon for 7 months and looking for a job. He cooked rice with cheakpea and tuna fish. He always has a smile on his face, it caught me at once when we meet in Bus Estation. He showed my room that I 'll stay for a few days, I never forget his kindness. He showed me around, made me feel I am at home.
Gijon

I went to nearer city Aviles by bus and met Jose from CS on the same day. Aviles is near the Cantabric Sea. I met Jose in Bus Estation, he took me to the Salinas beach his car. This area is a protective area and with green hills, we walked along the seaside and wrote Izmir and Aviles in a heart on the sand. We wathed the big  waves under the sunset from the view-terrace, listened to waves and felt the sun upon me. Than Jose drove to Casa Moises which is famous types of Cider. Cider is made of apple whish has %6 alcohol. It serves with a style that pours down from half a metre to make oxygen in it. I tasted and drank a few bottles of and I was  a litle drunk. When I arrived home I was so tired I fell into sleep easily.
Gijon.

The other day  I left home late went to city centre with a map in my hand tried to find blue cafe near the seaside. For a short time I got lost than I found my way. In half an hour I was on the beach, people were walking, running, scating, riding bikes, walking on the sand on the beach and peace was everywhere. I found the Blue cafe. Just Guillerr and Alejandro came for CS weekly meeting. Alejandro and I talked about Turkey,  Spain, music, windsurf. He recomended me to see Penaronda beach in Galicia Province to swim. After that we walked to seaside, we watched fabolouse sunset while we were walking near the sea and towards harbour. The sky had painted with the red by the sun like an artist was painting the sky with his brush quickly and changed the picture second to second. We looked at fishermen's boats. And I noticed that I miss silence, till half of June here is so peacefull. Today is the last day in Gijon, I loved this small city with nice people. I couldn't sleep easly, I was thinking of my new trip to San Sebastian, the city of wealthinness.

Park Guel, Sagrada Familia

I didn't plan anything to do today, just want to do something makes me happy and find something different. After I searched what shall I do in Barcelona I decided to go to Park Guel at first. It is built up famous sculptor Antoni Gaudi It was raining outside everybody is want to go there bought an umbrella near the park. I wanted to get wet under the rain. I met a  teacher and students are coming from Toulouse for a tour in Barcelona. I drew one of the castle black&white, whatched people buying things, taking photos, drawing castles. On the top of the Park I wachted the whole city with old and new city together.

Than I went to Sagrada Familia which is famous for sculptor Antoni Gaudi and hasn't ended up yet. There is a long queue outside yo get in, I didn't want to pay money to get in, I prefered to look at outdoor figures, those are
facinating. I saw a couple who was passing away slowly I requested them to take a photo of me in front of the Catedral. The black girl accepted my request and shot my photo and I learnt that they came from States, California and than I climbed the barrier and a man shot my photo there with the Katedral and a security guard saw me and worned me to climb down. I obeyed  the rule and jumbed down. But a photo has taken there...

By metro I went to Bus Estacian to buy a ticket to Gijon. I was thinking for days to get to Gijon and meet Guilermo. Someone inside me to meet with this guy soon and I fallowed my feelings that time and I paid 54£ to the ticket officer and left there.

At night I was so excited to see Rares again, blue eyes, shy, skinny, tall, funny, 25 years old Romanian guy. We met the night that we were watching the Final match together and went to disco together. He is a young photographer and came from Romania and take wedding photos outside. He has been Barcelona for a few months and wants to be best photographer of the world. I support him in his way to be the best photographer  of the world. He wants to take nude photos in the nature. If I have time we would take some nude photos outside, but I didn't have time, time to leave now. We wished to see each other on the way back from Gijon.

City Tour in Barcelona and see Barca team

Naturally I woke up late and wore my casual clothes and ate lunch with Mario. He cooked some Peruan meal and invite me to eat together, I didn't know it is pork. As a muslim I don't eat pork, with wrong I ate a little.

There are a lot georgios woman and man here. Most of the people who I met here thought I am European. I met with Carlos. He's gonna show me the city centre. He is Peruan and has been living here for years.  We visited Katedralo  Barcelona in Plaza Real.

Everybody with their children, couples, with Barca tshirts, hats, paintings on the faces, helicopters in the sky show us where the team bus is, like the water pour down people were floating one road to another to see the team bus with excitement. I could hear the music up to the sky and mix the air. At last we could see the team bus. TV channels, cameras, people's screams were together and it is not possible to walk easyly because of the crowded. My face was wide with a big smile, everybody was having fun, happy and make each other happy.
After that we walked to Plaza Catulanya and walked along the Raslambas Street that is the famous street in Barcelona for tourists. But I don't care about it much. I noticed that some teeneagers was wearing torn, asimetric desing clothes and asimetric cut hair.

In Barcelona taxis are black and yellow. White and red bikes are rented 35£ for a year. Carlos took me my new host, Ariadna's house in Paralel.

Ariadna, France-Catalan mixture, can speak English, Catalan, Spanish, Italian, France, work as a translator at home, interested in climbing mountains, painting. She has interesting, beautiful clothes and always has a smile on her face. She lives on the 9th floor with a big teras and show whole city view. She showed me her teras and we watched the city with the night lights.

Champion Barca

Today is Saturday and the metro is 24 hours open. I am lazy today, woke up at 1:00 pm, offf offff. After I had a shower wore my short light blue skirt and checked grey shirt and brown flip-flop. I polished red finger polish and wore my black hat.
By metro we went to Olimpia region and I realised that everbody speaks loudly in Barcelona and I listened people even though I don't understand any Spanish word. Spanish is the second common language in the world.

We joined on a picnic near the seaside. I walked around the side, I didn't liek the people who are firends of Marco they don't seem so friendly. I didn't care about it. We left there and went to watch Manchester United-Barcelona European Shampion League on two big screen with thousonds of people. And there was a Couchsurfing meeting there many people from States, Belgium and Sweden gathered together. Barca scored a goal in the first half and two in second half. And Barcelona Team won the match and we screamed in every goal the team scored and hugged each other with happyness. I was a fan of Barca tonight and felt like a Spanish person.

Whole people who are members of Couchsurfing countunied to celebrate shampion after we left Placa Reial and shared happyness with others they were dancing on the roads with Samba. I didn't remember how long we walked, just relaised that is Place Catulanya. We came into City Hall Teatre Edance . There are 2 stages for house music and 80s music. Till morning we were there a nd had fun alot with my new CS friends from around the world. Andreas took me home to Maragall. And the big day ended up full of happyness.

First Impression in Barcelona

I bealived that it is gonna be great to being Barcelona as I heard about my friends who have been there. I was looking out of the window for two hours dreamt to how wonderful to be in Barcelona. By Eurobus I went to Espano Metro. It was the first time I used metro map in a big foreing city in abroad. Everything is new and makes me crazy some times. I needed to use ticket machines by credit card or 10£. Otherwise it doesn't work.

I got off the Maragall station and saw some people were running out at night in the streets. Mario, my new host was waiting for me. After I had a shower I wore my new clothes and we went to Barri Gotic by metro, this area is one of the oldest place in Barcelona. We went to small restaurant which prepares Piadina. Mattias(German) and Eliana(Colombian) work together. There is dashboard to write something with chalk. I drew a heart and wrote Turkey and Spain inside and wrote a short note for Mattias and Eliana.

We went on a Latin Club with his friends everybosy was dancing Salsa like crazy some friends of Marco thought me how to dance Salsa. It was amazing to watch people to turn down again and again with Salsa music.

Mario has been leaving in Brcelona for 6 years and he came from Peru. He has graduated from Information Tecnology and he didn't like the conditions of the job and bored with working in Peru and moved Barcelona as student at first than he became a residence here.

And I told him that Machu Picchu is one of the places I want to see in my life time than he started giving some information about Peru. Peru has a flag with white and red and famous for Huayno music. This kind of music is common in Andean countries as if Arjentina, Ecuador, Colombia, Bolivia. And From May and October is the best time to visit Machu Picchu and above 2000 metres. Pasific side of  the country is desert and the other side is covered with green Amazon and Rain Forests and in the shouth, from Lima is 40 minutes away by plane to Cusko. As a tip you need to stay in Aquas Calientes(Hot Water) for at least one night. Because it is forbidden to stay in Machu Picchu. Most of the Peruan come to live to Spain. Because; cultures are smilar and the language is the same.

Spain is the one to speak Spanish in Europe.

In Athens with a demostration

Beginning of my European Trip.

In the early morning of the 23rd of May my little kittens wake me up , I feeded them and went to sleep again because I care about sleeping so much. At around 8:30am again I woke up and wore my grey tight jeans, grey checked shirt, black hat and black high hills Summer shoes. I was ready to leave house and I called a cab in a minute but it was late I got on a cab that was passing in the street. We need to go to Goztepe harbour in 10 minutes I couldn’t forget the bus that goes to airport passed away in front of our eyes quiclky we missed it. So I had to go to the airport by taxi and paid a lot of Money. Shit! I didn’t want it.  Anyway I  arrived at airport on time and I put my red luggage on the check in desk and than paid 15 TL  to get abroad. After that  I was ligth tos hop from a dutty free shop and I bought Turkish Raki for my friend in Spain, Turkish Delight.  I got on the plain and I was very excited to go abroad after two months. The travel took about 40 minutes from Izmir to Athens like get to Urla form Izmir I didn’t know it is quite close by plane.

When I arrived at Athens airport first Greek Letters took my attention and I understood and was sure I am in Greece and than I called my host Natty. He would waiting for me in the city centre by X95 bus I went to city centre the driver was a woman  I realized that  when I needed to ask a question where should I get off the bus. In Turkey it is not common to see a woman bus driver. And I notice there a re lot of motorbikes. The plates of the cars have three letters and four numbers.  So, when I arrived at city centre Natty took me to the home.  The weather was perfect the is no clouds in the air.
He is slim, long hair since 2003, handsome , 25 years old guy.  He has a black&white poster taken by Helmut Newton in his room and he likes Reggy music, ofcourse Bob Marley and hats. He has a bonzai tree in the red window with a yellow curtains. He puts a photo of a model who is taken by Helmut Newton.
He lives with two other guys more than a year. THe house that he lives has 2 flats, He is on the first floor and each room with different colour of painting. Whole guys had painted the house with red, yellow and blue. In the hall there is a hamak for people to want to get rest.
Tonight Konstantinos  will show me around by his motorbike. We decided to meet in front of the Hilton Hotel and I was very excited to see him, I would know he is very handsome and cool guy in the photos of him but when I saw him I was upset because he has lost more than 10 kilograms probably the sadness of his father’s  illness. So, by motorbike in teh warm breeze he rode met o the highest point of Athens, I had to hold him tighty not  to get down the motorbike while riding up with the warm breeze. We could see the whole view of Athens here if we want we can get down with the teleferic.

Sometimes I feel so lonely in a country that I don't know any friends. Before I came to Athens I made some friends to meet. Natty has a personal computer but he doesn't let me to use it for a while I think he is very bussy with his job. I had to use internet in my cell phone.

There is a nearer shopping centre that is AB I walked there and bought something to prepare salad for everybody at night and I prepared salad for more than 10 people. Natty, his two roommates, neighbours and I ate Turkish style salad, baked potatoes in a small tiny cute kitchen with happyness. After dinner girls cooked Turkish coffee I was surprised that they know how to cook Turkish coffee, I love it.

The  other day  my CS friend Kriton invited me for a Greek dinner in   Stzefis hill restaurant. We  ate rakomelo( Raki with honey) and  mezes and alive Greek music.n It was great to know such a great person here, not  to live alone. I was happy to with staying with him, He is curly grey hair and full beard and funny guy. He took me to the Keramikos by his car and liked the music poured out of Hive cafe- bar and sat on the roof bar and listened to club music and feel the musin in my blood that is one of the food I like to eat. There are many bars side by side you can choose one of them to have fun.

I stayed with Kriton for a few days and met his other guest Daniela, she is curly hair, olive skin cute girl from States.

We planned to go to demostration tomorrow evening together.  Since last Spring there is a financial crisis in Greece, After crisis government cut the salary %15 of the people.

Daniela and I prepared breakfast together, I fired red-green-yellow peppers, choped tomotoes and cucumbers, cheese and Daniela made caciki. The table was desinged with clourful dishes, this made me so happy an wanted to eat all of them at once.

One of the important thing I learnt in Athens is to stroll without getting lost in a foreing country. That's great. I got on the 224 bus went to Sintagma Square and met Kriton and Daniela after spent good times with Georgios. He is a little shy, handsome, skinny, long blond hair young boy with a big heart. We talked about travelling for hours and he recomended me to see Gavdos island. This island has the second most beautiful beach and wiht no electricity. So you can see the whole stars at night.. Georgios gives nude pose in the university for 3 hours twice a week. He fired three months ago. The government gives 400£ for a year. He wants to live in a small village in Greece. We were talking about many thing in a gloomy cafe which is Booze Bar and drank nescafe and beer. I asked him what he wants to do in five years. He stopped making planes since January because of he  and his brother had a car accident. He has stayed at hospital for almost a month. He told me that nobody knows what happens tomorrow. His ultimate dream is to move to Shouth America and get lost there in a village with his family and firends and if it is possible he doesn' t want to wear and being naked. He lived in England for 8 years and studied Physiclogy and Spanish, he had wanted to have a career but he couldn't, his mother was ill and he had to go back to Greece and he has desided that there are something important more than have a career. And he likes kulas so much.

Kriton, Daniela and went to Art School in Tavros and wathced a show about bike porn. Kriton took me to the Natty's house by his car.

Natty prepared vegatable omlette for bearkfast the last day before I left in Athens for Barcelona. Natty made me so happy he boiled sage. Thanasis helped me to carry the luggage to the Evangelismos metro station and took my photo in the metro.  Kriton sent a messag eto say have a safe trip. I was sad to leave Georgios, Kriton, Thanasis, Daniela. I left my heart here and went to airport.

Leaving Tunusia

I know I am leaving Tunusia with hopes, sadness, excitements, new experiences. Nebil is gonna take me to the airport by his car, this makes me relax. We had breakfast in city centre, outside in a cafe, under a sunny warm cloudlless sky.

Than we went on the road to airport. There we would meet Mohamed. It is hard to tell "Good bye" to a friend that whom is one of the best friend like Mohamed. But I had to tell him the truth, we live in another countries but we are connected each other by hearts. After I ate a sandwich in the airport they left me alone because I needed to get on the plane soon.

I was storlling around, looked at people shopping, waitingi eating.... I was writing down in my notebook as usual. A man came beside me and asked me if I am Turk or not. Yes, I am, I answered to him. He is transit passenger to go to Cahiro and Turk. We chatted for a while. Our flight delayed twice and I had to get on the plane for 3 hours. It was unexpecting thing for me and I was bored with staying in a narrow hall with more than hundred people that are waiting for the plane. I told myself. It wouldn't be the the end of Tunusia trip. Also I had a worry I have a transit flight from Istanbul to Izmir. Thanks God I was in Istanbul on time and caught Izmir flight.

I was feeling so tired, my eyes hurt badly. Even though I  missed my lovely city, my friends, my cute two kittens, and my bed.

I am happy to visit Tunusia and will visit again this lovely, beatiful city soon.

Eighth Day in Tunusia

La Marsa, Tunis
Tomorrow I am leaving in Tunusia and sad to go away from good friends, food, nice places. Today's plan is planned by Mohamed. There is a meeting in la Marsa. After I had a shower I left home. Nebill took me to the La Marsa by his car. I am really lucky. The weather is great, sunny and warm.

We met in La Berber, were 3 girls and 7 guys. I met with Rabii and felt close to him, talked to him much. Also I met Rasha is a girl. We drank nescafes, mineral water and talked about Turkey, revalution in Tunusia. And I learnt there is no "religion" part in Identity cards in Tunusia and have fingerprints to compare with Turkish identity cards.

We walked to the seaside sat on the grass, Rabii and I walked to the beach, I took off my shoes walked in the sea with my bare feeth. It was wonderful. Than I jumped in the air Rabii took my photo.

Nebil took me to the city centre by car. Rabiia, Rasha and I shopped, I bought some key rings with Tunusian camel symbol and magnets for fridge.  And I bought fresh dates to bring my parents. Also I bought parfume in old Medina from a parfume store. I bought cheap earings, red and orange feather earings.

At 7 clock Nebil came and we went to Al Jawhra that is most famous pastry shop in Tunis and bought pasta and cookies.

And I asked to Nebil is there any mountaiering club in Tunusia as a climber. He answered there is not any. And the highest mountain in Tunusia is 1500m.

At night Nebil and I met his friends, drank something and talked, I was bored there to talk to them. Because; they weren't met foreigners so much and didn't talk to me much and don't speak English.

So, I wanted to go back home, get rest and be ready for tomorrow flight.

21 Nisan 2011 Perşembe

Seventh Day in Tunusia

When I woke up I did gym and streched my whole body to feel awake like a cat than Firas and I ate something and left home to meet Mohamed, he stayed in a hotel. We me in city centre and drank fresh mango juice and almond cake in a pastry shop. I was so happy to being here to eat delicious food and drinks. We all strolled in the Old Medina for about 2 hours. Something took my attention easly. There are products which made by olive wooden and they are homemade. It was different for me and bought a bracelet, a spoon and fork for eating olives. In a narrow street I noticed canework hats on the walls and came inside old Medina's streets with old houses. Firas was need to get rest and we had to leave at around 11 clock in the morning. It was great to know such an interesting person in Sousse.

Our route was going to El Djem by train for 2 hours. In the train the seats are sits opposite each other. So, we were going back whe somebody loook at us. Actually we are going to right destination. I don't understand this. If you travel to long distance it is bad to sit reverse position. Anyway  we arrived at El Jam at around 2pm. El Jam is a concervative city, we couldn't see any woman outside. We were hungry and came into Le Bonheur restaurant and listened to Quran on the radio. Because; today is Friday. And the waitress came to us to give the Menu with a bunch of smile of his face and we obeyed his suggestion and ate Tunusian salad and spagetti with chicken. Fenouil(fennel) is the main ingredient in a Tunusian salad.

We planned to come back toTunis by train and our way to go to El Djem started with exciment. El Jam or Thysdrus is the third biggest colosseum in the world after Roma and Capua coloseums. Thysdrus has built by Gordions in AD 230. I jumped in a high stone and felt myself like a queen for a moment and looked at the camera. At the bottom of Colloseum gladiators had concentrate to fight each other. I tried to soul of them.

It was sunny and warm day to feel good and we were walking to train station to catch the train, again we are upset, cause there weren't a free seat this time. Okey Sema, don't get angry I told myself and we walked to minibus staiton, when it was full 8 passengers we moved. At the front we realised two blondes girls seem European. Mohamed is a big fan of English girls, he asked them why they were here. They answered their parents worked in Arabic countries in the past while they were kids. That's why they wanted to see. During the way Mohamed asked,Natalie and Caty answered, I listened them.

They paid 160 Pounds for one week trip in Tunusia and all includes, flight tickets, hotel accomadation, transformation. I paid 300 Euros just for flights. What a pity. Would I live in England?

At around 7pm we arrived in Tunis, I went to telenet(internet cafe) checked my message and by taxi I went home. I can not speak Arabic at all, I showed the adress to taxi driver to go home. It was a easy way not to get lost, write the adress in a paper.

Nebil was at home to wait for me and I was hungry and angry. Joking. We ate pizza with tuna fish. It was incredible delicious. I liked talking about Tunusian History with Nebil. He told me there are 3 politic parties which are based on religion. Nahdha is the oldest one and  made terorist attacks and closed in  80es.

Nebil and Hishem are best friends for 10 years and they were borned on the same day. Nice coincidence.

These days NATO, France and England have been bombing Libya. Libya is a neighbour of Tunusia, so people care about the news there. Let's come to Tunusia. For more than 10-15 years the country has been boiling, everybody was sad even rich peoples. First civil commotion starts in Gafsa in 2008. Unfortunately it was failed.  People had captured and put in the jail. Second one is on the 17th of 2010 in Sidi Bou Said. There are two versions. The first is; a street green grocer was selling in an illegal area and worned by a woman cop not to sell vegatables. If the man refused the woman cop, he was slapped by the woman cop. The  green grocer wanted to talk to Mayor of the city. The Mayor didn't speak to the man after that the man has fired himself. He was graduated university. Second version is the guy is not graduated university and why a woman cop slaps the man? When the woman cop takes the scales the man asked "How shall I scale the vegatables?  Shall I scale with your boobs?"  Than the woman slapped the man. Commition was thrown out to Kasserine  and on the 14 of January 2011 to Tunis.

Before the revolution policeman were very rude, stiff and bealive they can do anything what they want.

I like learning new things. What a wonderful day. Thanks God.

Sixth Day in Tunusia

Sousse
My host Hishem is flying to Roma for a few days short vacation and he left early in the morning and flew to Roma directly. So, I have to leave today to go to Sousse with Mohamed. We planned to meet in the Tunis train station at half past nine in the morning and to catch 9:40am train. I was there at 9:20am and bought something to eat on the train and sat a iron seat in the hall. I was dreaming to go to Sousse by train. Unfortunately it didn't happen because Mohamed was late, we missed the train in 2 minutes. I didn't get angry and we found a solution at once went to Minibus Station by taxi and got on Louage Red minibus. The driver of the taxi told me he likes listening to Turkish Art Music.

And I learnt a Tunusian arabic word today is Musmuskil means "No problem".

The travel took about 2 hours. Sousse is near by the Meditarrian sea, there is a castle called "Ribat" to protect to city from attackes  that come from the ships. It has built in 8th century. Sousse is in the northeast of Tunusia and popular for tourists to swim, boat tour, diving.

We went in a restaurant has a view of the Mediterrian Sea when we look out of the window while we were eating spagatti in a sunny day. I thanked God to give the chance to see Sousse in a sunny and warm day.
I wanted to swim such in a bright clean water but I couldn't couarage because I was worry to get sick. So, I joked myself to walk on bare feeth for about half and hour. We wrote our names on the sands and shot photos. Normally we planned to get on a phaeton but we didn't. We prefered to go to Port Ken Town by taxi. We made a sircle around the beach and need a break to get rest for a while. There is a yatch marina, beach, camel tour.

I was excited to meet Firas in the evening, he was going to be my second coach in Tunusia. He works in Public Port in Sousse and live in apartment that is built in 1960's. So, we met in under the sun-set in Le Fleur Orient Cafe. By the way the meaning of the cafe's name is Eastern Flower. I drank tradational coffee. The cafe serves the coffee with Rose water. It is new thing for me to add rose water in a hard coffee. So, the sun was coming down and I was getting colder outside and suggested Mohamed and Firas to find a warmer place to stay and eat dinner. Because; it was almost 8 clock. Yes, Firas took us a very famous Belle Avenue to eat Ojja Mergez. While we were talking I learnt Firas to travel Sweden, Germany, Ghana, Morocco, England, Turkey,Norvey, Australia. Turkey and Ghana are his best countries to visit. In a conversation with Firas I took some clue about Ghana. If you choose to drink cheapest alcohol drinks you are in the right country, but hotels and food are expensive. You can find a facility for each night to have fun. Salsa, Reggie nights are everywhere.

Tunusians, Algerians and Moroccons are not Arabic as an etnicity. They are Berberian, means North Africans.  Tunusia, Japon and Greece are the oldest countries in the world. Tunusia has established in 1957. How do I know this because I am talking to Firas. He is history  an addict. He loves old things. He can not live without radio, bicycle. His nick name should be "history guy". First Andalucians had came to Tunusia than Spanishes.

We drank cold mint tea in a candle light, it was fantactic to be in old house with the light of the candle, for a moment I felt myself in a scary movie, because of the dark, old house, old furnitures.

I was tired and wanted to sleep after a nice history talk with Firas. One more day passed quickly in Tunusia.

Next destination is El Jam....

Fifth Day in Tunusia

A Couchsurfing house meeting in La Marsa
I slept till afternoon. Nobody is avaliable to stroll with me, it was boring to walk around alone in a city that I don't know anybody. So, I had to do something by myself and have fun. By train I went to city centre and found the Habib Borgiva Avenue by helping a policeman. And noticed that there are some lady cops to control traffic. In the city centre traffic was always bussy when I was in Tunis. Because of the somester holiday of the Schools for two weeks.

I ate charwarna in a restaurant that tastes Turkish doner kebap and tried to find aninternet cafe for more than half an hour and finally I found one after I asked for help. In Tunusia you should look for a telenet if you drop internet and it is cheap one hour 1,5 TND.

People  smoke cigarettes so much it is not forbidden and  you shouldn't be surprised when you see a stewart is smoking  in a restroom. If you are a smoker you can feel free.

Near Clock Tower I sat in a cafe and drank nescafe and wrote my diary, felt the fresh air in my lungs, kissed the warm sun.

There was CS(couchsurfing) meeting in La Marsa and I would meet new friends in a house meeting. Peter and Tanya were the owner of the house who are came from the USA tow years ago.. I am in the the train that is going to La Marsa and quite crowded people are around me don't like that tried to find a free seat and at once I saw a free seat but someone else sat. I told myself don't worry you will have to stay for 20 minutes and looking around, found a young and handsome boy to explore, was wearing man's scarf, long black coat and reading a book with a serious face. He is wearing reading glasses, has blue eyes and white skin and saw he is reading  Fred Vargas. Till La Marsa I am looking at him like a child that looked a big baloon in the sky.

I met with Mohamed and Rafik near the movie theather and walked around the seaside, listened to the waves and ate sandwiches. Peter opened the gate with a smile on his face, when he opened the door of the house, people inside smiled at me. More than 25 couchsurfers were together from Tunusia, USA and Ghana. Peter&Tanya have a dog and five cats that are knocked in a room. It was my first CS house meeting, that's why I was excited. We were drinking best quality vine and everbody was talking about their CS experinces. There is guy whom name is Amin his parent's root came form Turkey he told me. He doesn't seem to be a Tunusian because he has green eyes, white skin, most of the Tunusian people have olive skin. I am very happy with dozen of funny people. I gave a necklase to Yosr as a gift. She held me tightly and kissed my cheeks. I was blushed. Hishem came to take me to the home, he wanted me to see city centre and shot my photo in front of the Clock Tower and Theather.

I was tired of happyness and fell into sleep at once...

Third Day in Tunusia

Today is Monday and I called my father, he didn't bealive me I am in Tunusia told me I may be a crazy girl to visit a country in a civil war and a neigbour of Libya is in a war. I could speak at last and told him I am safe and Tunusia is not in bad condition, it is more stable now, nobody try to attack me on the roads, also I friends with me all the time. I paid extra money to make international calls and to call my father from Tunusia, he is very nervous before I went. Nowdays he is getting better, everyday I called him to make him feel good. In Tunusia there are three lines to connact. I got one of them and I called my Tunusian firends with this simcard.

Today's plan planned by Mohamed, is going to Cartaghe-Hannibal. We walked to from Clock Tower to TGM(Tunis-La Gulate-La Marsa) train station. In the train there are first and second class. We travelled in first class and I slept for a while, I need to wear a hair and sun glasses always, because I have sun allergy. Mohamed, my best Tunusian friend and I met in Hannibal station. There are always very rich people can live and Presedent Palace in Cartaghe and 20 minutes away from Tunis. The temparature was 23 C.

We had to walked up to the Hannibal Cartaghe Museum, we were getting warm while walking up the road. Fİrst I had to pay 8 TND(Tunusian Dinar( to come in. There are two kids, sister and brother and were running around, I shot their photos, Mohamed was sitting on a chair inside the museum to get rest, I think he is getting older. Anyway I saw some mosaics on the ground and on the walls, some huge statues, a big head. Cartaghes had fighted with Romans in the past.

I jumped in front of the museum and wanted Mohamed to take my photo while I am in the air, one day I will fly on the air with a baloon or parachute. I am sure I like being in the air, saw a some sheep after we lef the museum, we wathed the sun was coming down behind the Bougarnin Mountains in front of the Cartaghe Antique City. The Antique City, Mediterrian Sea, Bougarnin Mountains, the sun were in a wonderful line.

Than we got on the same train and went to see Mohamed's friends in La Marsa-Bab El Medina Cafe. It has four floors, we prefered to stay on the top. I made a new friend there. I had a chance to meet Rafik, is a strange, funny, sarcastic, smiley boy, allthough I loved this guy. He was in Canada for master degree programme for a few years after graduated univercity. I told them some Turkish tongue twister, they son't understood, laughed a ot to try to say the Turkish words in my notebook. We had fun a lot, there I drank nescafe, ate ice-cream in a pastry shop, people were figthing each other to get some ice-cream. I learnt some Tunusian simple words as if Eslema and Bislema means "Hi" and "Good bye". We said good bye to new friends and got on the train to go Tunis again, Nebil was waiting for me to take me to home by his car what a nice guy, Nebil.

I felt tired again, I am getting older, I drank Tunusian tea with Nebil and talked about ZABA( Zeynel Abidin Bin Ali) let more than 10.000 criminals from the jail before the Revulotion to create an unsecure situation and make people to dependent Presedent. Most of the criminals escaped to European Countries, others strolled around the Tunusia, they don't have istatistics about how many criminals are around. There is a book about the wife of President, Leila Trabelsi. La Regente De Cartaghe is all about the Leila. Indeed she has been the captain of the Tunusian Ship since 1992. Whole country has been dealing this woman for years. Most communication companies, alcohol industry, transportation firms are controlled under the President's family and relatives.

Sometimes I couldn't open my eyes and concantrate Nebil's stories about the President, but wrote down. For a moment I told Nebil I need to sleep. I like to listen Nebil, he doesn't get bored with my questions, when I don't understand he explain again and again.

Today has gone like that, with new friends, sun, jump, history, revulotion stories and time to sleep now. Good night.

Fourth Day in Tunusia

Old Medina, Tunis
Today's plan is stroll in the Medina with Adel as a friend of Mohamed, Hishem took me to the city centre by his car and joined us for one hour. We were standind in front of Bab Bhar( Sea Gate) is one of the Gates and  for defended the city. We met Adel and were walking into Zetuna Mosque that is one of the oldest one.

Hishem and I were really hungry and want to eat whatever it is possible couldn't concantrate the road. We met Makroud as a dessert it is very delicious. While we were strolling I was planing the next day's trip towards Sousse with Mohamed.

In Old Medina , there are some jewellery shops, parfume shops, silver shop, old clock repair shops, silver repair shops, spices shops and old Median famous for handmade carpets and makroad we came into a Carpet House and walked up the stairs to see the terrace and the view was fabolous with the withe clouds in the blue sky, old Medina's white houses, minares of the Mosques, Katedrales, new city were together.
Hishem had to go to work and left us with Adel came into Old Bey Families' Tombs.Bey means king in old Tunusian time. Women and Men graves have diffrents shapes, Women's l head stone look like a square,  men's head stone look like a turban. The style of the walls were covered partly mosaics and simple. In jewellery houses something attached me there are bracelets with a shape of a hand and learnt it is Fatima's hand, people bealive it protects themselves from bad eyes like a eye-evil bead in Turkey. There aren't many tourists around after 14th January Revulation and tourists %40 are less than before the revulation.

The weather was always sunny and warm, didn't need to wear a jacket, felt sunny with Adel we ate charwarna in a restaurant because I was hungry so much and could eat Adel. He had been in Turkey once, knows Besiktas football team, Husnu Senlendirici, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, big fun of Istanbul wants to visit Turkey again.

We walked to Municipalty building there were some Tunusian people escaped from Libya after 6th of March 2011 chaos. A TV programmer was making a interview with a woman and she was telling she had left the her flat, job thereand now she is jobless and homeless. To compare Tunusia Libya money  lost 1/3 value.

Adel and I walked towards new Clock Tower is built in 2003, I fell in love with the Clock Tower in the night, it looks as if there is someting inside the Clock  Tower  and it fires ans speads the rays out of the tower at night. By taxi we went to Tunis Lake in a cafe we drank Tunusian style tea, they put the sugar and tea together and add soem fresh or dired minty on it at around six Yosr joined us drew to car to a restaurant that serves leblebi, tradational Tunusian food. I said goodbye to Adel, he would going to Cerba tomorrow.

With Yosr we got to see her mother and aunt, her mother looks very young even though she is 57 and worked for years, now retared and had fu with her life.

When I came home felt tired of walking all day, couldn't eat either and fell into sleep at once and it was 9pm.

4 Nisan 2011 Pazartesi

Second Day in Tunis

I like being a traveller, don't have to pay the bills, wash the dishes, go to the work, don't have responsibility for anything, that's great, like a foreigner, like a homeless, belong nowhere for a while makes me feel free and relax. Like a lazy girl I woke up, had a shower, couldn't dry my hair cause I am in hurry to meet Yosr in the city centre.  In a hurry I ate some pasta cause Yosr was coming to take me to the city centre by her car. I felt she is a sister of mine when I saw her in first sight.

It was a wonderful sunny and warm March day and with a wide smile on my face I was going on my way. We met Saif, Hussam and Mohamed near the theather, she told me on the road that I would meet two bodyguards and don't need to protect myself. It was true because; Hussam and Saif are brothers, my bodyguards. We were standing in front of the Theather building,  A TV cameraman were recording  people in front of the board  and writing Tunusia with a big letters. I heard that 20 march of 1956 is the Independence Day of Tunusia. And today is 20th March. What a chance I was there as a traveller and being a part of this day. Opposite the road Yosr showed me the Statue of Ibn-i Haldun who is philosopher and a sosyologist was standing in front of the Mont Catedrale.

After a short break in front of the Catedrale we are going to Sidi Bou Said is one of the romantic place in Tunusia and known white&blue houses. I like blue colour, it is my favourite calour and and I foynd myself in front of the blue doors and posing to Saif, walking in the narrow streets with a smell of Bambolini in our noise. Bambolini is a kind of donat. You should try it before leave Tunusia and the road ends with the Mediterrian Sea. I want to sit in a cafe and watch the sea and chose the Cafe Des Delices. Actually it is a song name that French singer Patrick Bruel sings this song. I laid down on the sofa and looked at the sea and hills wait for the sun-set and the sun was stroking me liek a orange blanket in the evening. I wanted to drink Turkish coffe, but they made the coffe with a diffrent style it smelt yasmin and saw the guys were drinking tea with fresh almonds seeds.

While in a confersation I learnt the more romantic places are Tozeur(Douz, Tamaghaza), Jerba, Hammamet, Sidi Bou Said as a romantic person like me that's wonderful. It was getting cold and we were six, Nebil joined us, sitting on the rocks near the Yatch Marine and listening to Tarkan from my mobile phone. Mohamed is a big fun of Tarkan. I confess I hate getting cold and stood between Saif and Nebil to keep calm than we got on the cars and went our ways to meet each other again.

Nebil and I had dinner in a small restaurant and ate  Ojja, kind of traditional food with a special tomatoe souce and meat and egg. I loved it.

When we arrived home I felt tired so much and fell into sleep at once.

First Day in Tunis

I was very excited  and full of worries before going Tunusia. Because; in Turkey and in the world press everbody said that Tunusia is not safe after revolution for traveller and tourists. My friend, Mohamed from Tunis told me that nowdays it is safe and the situation of Tunusia is stable to come. I booked a hotel for a few days and send request to a couchsurfing member for a night.
Because; I couldn't reach Mohamed till the last day before I left Turkey. He would find a place to stay for me. I don't need to stay in a hotel, a Couchsurfer hosted me. On Saturday of March morning I was on the plane is flying to Tunis in 2 and half hours and I caught myself saying " I am going to Tunusia. Yuppi. That's great experience waiting for me there. I ate all the menu they served on the plane usually on the plane I eat whole things they serve cause I feel hungry while I am flying. I could see the small islands above 11.000m near Tunusia. We were flying over white cotton clouds... There aren't any Turkish passengers on the plane so that I felt lonely for a while. Next tow seats were free so I could sit what I wanted. That's great!

It is about afternoon when I arrived Tunis Carthage airport. First thing took my attantion was the arabic words. And I need to go backword the time for an hour. Tunusia was the first Arabic country that I visited. After I got off the plane I got my luggage and send a sms to Mohamed " I am in" and saw him in the hall and hold him thightly because; I miss him and need to see him there. And outside Hishem was waiting for us. I requested him to host me before I came. He is a radio director tecnique in Mosaique FM and a part-time DJ. He invited us to see him at work, learnt with shiny face Mosaique FM is the first private radio established in 2003, yes I was excited to see a real radio station building, while we came in there was an alive programme.

Tunusia has 11 million population and 154.530 km2 small country in North Africa by the Mediterrian Sea. A Tunusian Dinnar equals A Turkish Lira. You need to bring dolar or euro to change TND. Public language is Tunusian Arabic but most of the people speak French as a second language.

Hishem lives in Tunis city centre, so lucky I am to transport city centre easily, by train it is 10 minutes away. I felt hungry again when I arrived home, Hishem showed my room and selves to put my clothes, that's was great for me to find some space to put my clothes, I don't have to keep the clothes in the luggage. I ate some sweety things they are fabolous. And need a shower to feel awake. After shower I heard Hishem was saying "Sahha"  means "health" in Tunusian Arabic in commanly use when someone has a shower, buys something new, after meal.

While we were going home I noticed that the public buses are yellow and metro is green-yellow. The cars have numbers and Arabic letters in the plates. Taxies have plates and speacial numbers above to call.

Weather was wonderful as being a March day, sun was up and smiling at me and saying "Welcome to Tunusia".

We passed away Prime Ministery Building it sourrounds with wire fence and soldiers stay all day long there. Temporary President Fuat Mebazaa will stay till 24th July.

I found myself in La Marsa with Hishem, Nebil, Halima and other firends of them in Cafe Journal in the evening. I needed to go to restroom and found something new again. The purity tab is hung on the wall.

I felt myself like a spring weather. We were going somewhere to somewhere and I never planned, somebody planned for me I obeyed everything, we were going shopping now got beers from Carrefour that is the biggest market in Tunis now. Before the revolution it was Jeant Market was fired by the people against the Government and belonged relative of  President  Zine El Abidine Ben Ali.Most of the Tunusian hate ZABA and miss first goverrment of Tunusia Republic is Habib Borgiba was a lawyer and most of Tunusian love him.

After shopping we were separated in two teams Hishem and I and Halima and Nebil. First team went to Odeon Disco to watch Hishem's DJ performance. Second team went to Bilanko Bar we will join them later. I couldn't find a word how to explain my happiness to see a DJ performance very close. I was standing behind him staring at him in a hynotic state. He performs house music and has a original sound. When we got out of the bar it was raining slowly and could see the windscreen wiper was making a sound click-clack and were driving Bilanko Bar towards Chamart. It was full of people from around the world every type, every colour, every religion gathered together inside under a rap, hiphop and club music umbrella with a alive music DJ perfermance. I really had fun, danced and danced till feel tired and breathless.

It was almost morning when we came home and met with the warm bed like a sleepy child.
